If you are infected with the virus, the first symptoms resemble those of influenza:
- Sudden fever
- Nausea
- Weakness
- Headache
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
This is followed a few days later by:
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Rash
- Impaired kidney and liver function
In some cases, both internal and external bleeding ensue.
